Reimer Ravens Have Character

There is more exciting news from Eugene Reimer Middle School. As a vibrant community school, Eugene Reimer is proud to host this year’s BC Schools of Character Youth Forum on Friday, February 8,th 2019. As in past years, this event promises to be an engaging experience and welcomes students from elementary, middle, and high schools from across the lower mainland. This year, the event includes 23 schools and 335 participants from grades 4- 12, as well as staff, parents, and community members. The goal of the BC Schools of Character Youth Forum is to empower students to build character and take action making a difference in our community. Students will leave inspired and with the confidence to undertake projects around the theme of "Courage".

One of the highlights is sure to be Emily Isaak from Abbotsford Senior Secondary who is speaking on the topic of Courage. In addition, there will be many other speakers such as the Honorable Mayor Braun, Police Chief Serr, Fire Chief Beers, and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Champion Arjan Singh Bullar. 

The staff and students at Eugene Reimer are proud to host this meaningful event that leaves our youth feeling empowered and ready to take action in their schools and community.
