Wrestling

Eugene Reimer Middle School has a very successful wrestling program. The Reimer wrestling team is partnered with Rick Hansen Secondary. The team is coach by JD Dhaliwal. He is an experienced coach, who emphasizes dedication, hard work, persistence, sportsmanship, and team unity. Our wrestlers gain and learn the necessary skills that will make them dominant.

The wrestling team  had a great weekend in Port Alberni recently. Our very own Humraj Sandhar captured a bronze medal in one of the most competitive weight classes of the tournament. He really impressed a lot of the other coaches who were in awe of his skill in only Grade 8. He represented the school and his community very well and  we are proud of his accomplishments.

All middle school grades, both male and female, are able to wrestle. Only the grade 8’s have the opportunity to participate in zone and BC championships. Wrestling season begins in the beginning of November and ends in February. We encourage all of our student-athlete to participate and try out wrestling.
